 A Distinctive Fifth Wheel
When the Keystone Everest was designed, the idea of building the best luxury fifth wheel was much more important than building the most. Since 90% of all fifth wheels are the same, Everest wanted to identify key features that luxury fifth wheel owners were missing, capitalize on the tremendous purchasing power of Keystone RV, and then implement these features into a product that is clearly distinctive from all others.
In order to set Everest's interior apart from the competition, they chose to use the finest cabinet doors ever offered in a fifth wheel- Endura's Glazed Maple. Backed by a 10 year warranty, these residential quality doors require a 5 step, hand rubbed finish only found inn units "built one at a time." Nex, they specified Corian brand solid surface countertops with large built in stainless steel sinks. Although these residential countertops take more time to install and require a reinforced cabinet base, the distinctive beauty and durability were essential in their quest to build the best fifth wheel. Additional distinctive features found in an Everest include a standard 26" LCD TV combined with their Media Pro 5000 DVD player, 20" kitchen drawers with full extension drawer guides, a convection microwave, marble finished showers with molded seats, and much, much more!
On the outside, Everest was also created like no other. Electric awnings, Everest sized pass-thru storage, convenient utility systems and aerodynamic gel coatedd fiberglass caps with increased turning radius were essential. But ideas like Therma-Shield 37, Zere degree rated construction, EZ Flex rubberized suspension system and separate "clean" and "dirty" storage areas make Everest truly unique. Everest has studied every detail right down to the brass bushings and 1/2" shackle plates used on their greasable EZ Flex suspension system.
